Privacy at Puzzle Acupuncture
We keep this simple. Here is what the website collects, what it does not, and who to ask.
The newsletter
If you join From Dr Deb, we store the email address you gave us and your explicit newsletter opt-in in Puzzle’s private newsletter system. We use it only to send the newsletter. A clinic booking does not sign you up for marketing emails. We do not sell your address. Every email has a Puzzle unsubscribe link, or you can write to hello@puzzlesf.com and we will remove you right away.
The site chat
The chat assistant on this site answers questions about the clinic, pricing, and general acupuncture education. We built it ourselves rather than buying one. Your messages are sent to Anthropic, whose model writes the replies, and the conversations are stored on Vercel, which hosts the assistant, so we can improve its answers.
Please do not share personal health details in the chat. It is a concierge, not a medical channel. Anything about your health belongs in the free consult with Dr. Deb, where it stays between you and her.
If you shared something in the chat you want deleted, email hello@puzzlesf.com and we will delete that conversation.
Booking
You can book directly on this website. Our clinic booking system stores your name, email, phone number, and appointment so Dr. Deb can provide your visit and send confirmations and reminders. Google Calendar helps us check availability and create Google Meet links for video visits. The browser can remember your contact details on this device; choose “Not you? Clear saved details” to remove them.
Booking measurement
Booking measurement is on by default unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or you turn it off here. We use campaign information and Google Ads click identifiers to understand which channels lead to bookings. Google Ads receives a conversion value and an opaque transaction identifier, not your name, email, phone number, form answers, or health details. Test bookings and staging pages are excluded from Ads conversion reporting.
What this site does not collect
No health records, no intake forms, no payment details. Health information is only ever discussed with Dr. Deb directly, in person or in a consult.

This website provides general information about Puzzle Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency care, and using the site or chat does not create a practitioner-patient relationship.
For a medical emergency, call 911. For personal medical questions, speak with a qualified healthcare professional. Do not stop or change prescribed treatment because of information on this site.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but information can change and the site may occasionally be unavailable. Links to booking, maps, social platforms, and other third-party services are provided for convenience and are governed by those services’ own terms.
The site’s original text, design, and images belong to Puzzle Acupuncture or are used with permission. You may link to public pages and quote short passages with attribution. Please ask before reproducing anything more substantial.
